This program is for the amateur musician who needs to transpose the sheet music fast.   The idea is that the two staves are used to solve this problem fast.

The top stave represents the sheet music in front of you, set the text for the key to match the music, next add sharps or flats to set the key signature.

The bottom stave is for your instrument. Set the stave to the key that your normally read, for example Bb for a trumpet or clarinet.   Now you’ll see what you need to do to each not to be able to play it.   Also, to make things easy you will see the key signature that you are supposed to be playing.   Finally there is a short text description of how to adjust the notes that you see to be able to play them.
